See All ReviewsWent to Dee Willie’s after seeing their all you can eat BBQ on social media. Got there when they opened so we could get fast service, fresh BBQ and out of there quick. That did not happen. Told the all you can eat does not start until the manager arrives. That wasn’t till 11:45. When he was there he told us that it wouldn’t be ready till 12:30. Tried to order a loaded baked potato and the potatoes weren’t ready yet. Asked if we could just get a meat plate and if we’re still eating and order more, just charge us for the all you can eat. They wouldn’t do that either. Sides were good, brisket was dry and sausage was filmy. Won’t be going back.
First off the reason for my three stars is because of the portion size and the price this place has always been our go to place for barbecue when we are in town. The food is so delicious and everyone is friendly but yesterday I took my Daughter and the small little plates we got for $40 was not worth it. I don’t mind paying. But they made The plates smaller and the prices went up. I understand everything is getting expensive but $20 for a plate. That small is crazy so I’m sure they lost my business.
Went for lunch, got the three meat plate (sausage, ribs, and brisket). For sides it was potatoe salad, sweet potatoe casserole, and cream corn. The ribs were cooked well, had a smokey and salty taste. These were my personal favorite. The sweet potatoe casserole is outstanding. The texture is soft with a sweet flavor that shines through. This side is worth trying. The brisket was my least favorite. It was good I just think I got some that was light on the seasoning. Watch out for the stray dogs in the parking lot and enjoy the BBQ. It was a wonderful little place.
